If your camera is not working, a few things could be happening. First, when you open a meeting in Onstream Webinars, you will get an “Adobe Flash Player Settings” warning that join.onstreammedia.com wants Camera and Microphone Access. Users MUST allow access to this.

Some users get spooked at this security warning and without reading it, they deny access. When users deny access, they will be locked out of using their camera and microphone for the whole session unless they restart it by closing out and re- entering.
Assuming you have the correct permissions, once you are in the meeting, there is a web camera icon in the top right of your screen next to a microphone. Click that to turn on the web camera to see if it is working.
Make sure the right camera device is selected for use in Onstream Webinars. Some computer setups have more than one camera device and it may not be selected. You can access the list of devices to choose from by opening a meeting and going to Options -> Preferences -> Camera & Video, and then selecting the correct device from the “Choose your camera” drop down.

If you get to this drop-down option and your device isn’t showing up, you may need to install the drivers for this device or update them. You can do this by looking up your web camera’s manufacturer’s website. Once you find the device you own, download and install the drivers for that device and try again.
If you have the right device selected but it’s not showing an image, you may have a hidden background process or program (like Skype, etc.) accessing your web camera and it is restricting other applications from getting access to it. Try restarting your computer.
